Tai Chi Ch'üan

This is an internal martial art, practised for both its defence training, health benefits and meditation. The term 'Tai Chi' refers to a philosophy of the forces of Yin and Yang related to the moves.

  1. The exercises require a high degree of concentration, with the mind free from distraction.
  2. The movements are slow and uninterrupted, like a flowing stream.
  3. Breathing is natural – sometimes involving abdominal respiration – and is performed in rhythmic harmony and body movements.

In this class you will learn the Yang Style 24-step Tai Chi Ch'üan.

For those who already know the 24–step Yang Style, there will be a chance to learn or improve the 48-step.
